The Fitness Freak

I’m an ISSA certified personal trainer, although I currently don’t train anyone. I personally did it to learn what a personal trainer does so that I didn’t have to pay for one back when I was trying to lose weight.

Currently I consider myself a power lifter, although I have done some running as well as functional fitness training with things such as kettle bells, kettle clubs, etc. But for the most part right now I focus on power lifting.

My current raw personal records at 204lbs are:

  • Bench Press – 295lbs
  • Military Press – 180lbs
  • Squat – 380lbs
  • Deadlift – 450lbs

For a routine I stick with 5/3/1 with some modifications, I also tend to do some work with kettle bells and walk about 15 miles a week. I honestly try to avoid running lately.

My goals for 2017 are:

  • Bench Press – 315lbs
  • Military Press – 195lbs
  • Squat – 400lbs
  • Deadlift – 495lbs

  • Symmetric Strength – Trying to figure out how your lifts are and where you’re weakest at. This is a goot website to use.
  • Strength Level – This website tell you how strong you are by what others have put in.

  • Strength Standards – This is a great side if you’re looking to build a program on some of the most popular power lifting programs. Just enter your information, select a program and it will generate what you need to do.
